Swamp Zen was formed in the winter of 2007
consisting of former members of some of Chico's legendary Party/Dance bands, From Electric Circus
Mike Waltz(dr)&Saul Henson(gtr)
from Brut Max Snake Holmes(bass)
& Doug Stein(voc/gtr) of Puddle Junction.
Originally titeledWaltSaulSnake&Stein
The name was changed to Swamp Zen
When the four were joined by
Glen Tucker(Dog Name Blue/Dead Beats)
& Gary Dutra(Electric Circus)
Swamp Zen Have Played All Over California
& recently returned from a two week gig in Mazatlan Mexico. They also play a bi-weekly gig
in down town Chico at Lost On Main & are currently
in the studio working on there first cd of all orginal Home Grown Chico Rock!
