What I could not fully comprehend as a child has developed into an interest that I explore today through my art work. Through the idea of pathogens mutating and evolving I explore the similarities to how people can adjust and change.
These pathogenic bugs are presented in groups, pairs and in isolation. The bugs are situated in ambiguous relationships to each other which are often how I see human interaction. Each position for the pieces are a response to a personal narrative. Affection, intimacy, detachment and pain are emotions that are embedded in these pieces.
