The Uptown/Downtown Snow Goose Wildlife Art Exhibition opens January 22 and runs through February 7, 2010 as a key part of Chico’s annual Snow Goose Festival. Photographers, painters and sculptors will display expressive images of Pacific Flyway geese, herons, ducks, egrets, swans and other birds within alluring local habitats. Two galleries, Avenue 9 Gallery & Art Guild (Uptown) and The Artistry at All Fired Up! (Downtown) will host the exhibit. A free “Sneak Preview” takes place Saturday, January 23 from 5:30-8:30 pm.
