On Thursday May 15th at 6:30 G.R.U.B.(Growing Resourcefully, Uniting Bellies) held their second benefit show at the Chico Women's Club. $9 got you in and a giant plate of veggie curry with salad. The dinner was totally sustainable with cloth napkins and metal forks and glass drinking glasses, most of which looked like it was donated. Many local musical favorites also joined the cause, and there were organic plants for sale and t-shirts. Keep an eye on this resourceful group, they are up to good things.

It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."
