The annual “Chico Icons” exhibition runs at Avenue 9 Gallery & Art Guild from December 11-January 16.
This show is a great crowd pleaser and features a “People’s Choice” award.
Chicoans love to see the ‘take’ of artists on such local treasures as our water towers, Bidwell Park’s “Five Mile,” the Stansbury House, and less familiar sites including fertile agricultural surroundings with orchards and vegetable fields.
Chico Icons opens with a Friday December 11 reception from 5 to 8 PM featuring jazz by Chico Icon Rudy Giscombe.
Regular hours are Wednesday to Saturday 12 noon to 5 PM.
